At Betano, our promotions are intended for customers who place bets for recreational purposes. To ensure a fair environment for all customers, we monitor the use of bonuses and other promotional benefits to verify that they are used in accordance with their terms and conditions.
Irregular bonus use is considered to be any conduct intended to take advantage of a promotion in a manner contrary to its conditions. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Failure to comply with the terms and conditions: failing to meet the conditions applicable to a bonus, free bet, or other promotional offer.
- Creation or use of multiple accounts: registering or using multiple accounts, whether in the name of the same person or through different people from the same household, address, device, Internet connection, or other means, with the aim of obtaining or using additional bonuses.
- Withdrawal of the deposit in order to use only the bonus: withdrawing the deposited amount after claiming a first-deposit bonus with the intention of continuing to bet solely with the promotional balance.
- Use of strategies designed to minimise or eliminate risk: placing identical bets, hedging bets, risk-free bets, or similar strategies with the aim of taking advantage of the benefits of a promotion without assuming the usual risk associated with betting.
- Modification of the gaming pattern to meet bonus requirements: significantly increasing the balance and subsequently substantially changing the amount of the bets, the type of game, or the betting structure with the aim of completing the wagering requirements of a promotion.
- Improper use of certain game features: using features such as “Gamble” (bet) in certain casino games in a manner intended to obtain an artificial advantage or circumvent the purpose of the promotional conditions.
This list is not exhaustive. Other conduct may also be considered irregular use when its purpose is to exploit a promotion in a manner contrary to its terms and conditions.
If we detect irregular bonus use, we may apply the measures provided for in the terms and conditions of the relevant promotion.
